These Staffordshire white cats have black spots and a black bow around their neck. They are sitting on a blue base and measure 4" wide x 4" tall. The handpainted technique used on the cats is referred to as "Spongeware." It dates back to the 17th and 18th Centuries. It involves using specially hand-cut sponges to print color directly on the unfired ware.
